Product Review: Face Painting Kit by Bo Buggles

IFace Painting Kit for Kids by Bo Buggles - Professional Quality Palette & Ultimate Party Pack - Non-Toxic - 8 Colors, 2 Glitters, 2 Brushes - Great For A Childrens Party - Lifetime Guarantee (Office Product)
This is an excellent face painting kit. There are many colors to work with in this kit and and they can be mixed as a well to make more. These paints are easy to use. There is a clear plastic sheet that needs to be removed before use. I soaked my brush in warm water and added that to the paint. The paint became very cream and smooth. It was then very simple to apply to my daughters face. The colors came out much brighter than I expected. My daughter was thrilled when she saw the results. The kit includes 2 brushes 2 sponges and 2 eyeshadow sponges. I received this product at a discount in exchange for my honest review.     http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B018O56LMI?ref_=cm_rdp_product

Five Great Essential Oils

I recently had the opportunity to try five more essential oils from Simply Earth.  One of the top reasons I like these oils are that they are 100% Pure therapeutic grade.  Too many chemicals mixed in with modern medicine is the reason I got into oils in the first place.  I won't use an oil that is not pure.  Every single Simply Earth oil I have tried so far has been very high quality.  I haven't been disappointed by this brand at all!! #SimplyEarth

Review: 2PM Essentials Frosted Glass Roll On Bottles for Perfume, Wax,Lip Balm, Essential Oils, Deodorant, Frosted Cobalt Blue, 10ml (Healthand Beauty)

These frosted glass roll on bottles are perfect for my own essential oil mixes. I have a very large collection of oils and I'm constantly trying to come up with new scents. I was putting the oils into 4 oz. bottles but those can't be transported easily. These roller bottles however are thick and much more durable as well as portable. They are cobalt in color. Dark bottles are recommended for essential oils because some of them spoil when exposed to the light. These bottles have plastic inserts which house the ball bearing. The lid is a screw top and is in silver making the bottle look even nicer. I received this product free in exchange for my honest review.     http://2pmessentials.com/  #RollerBottles

Adventures in changing headlights!!

When Hubby called and told me that he had been hit by a chunk of concrete on the road and that the headlight had been smashed I wasn't too terribly worried.  When he came home however I noticed that the "chunk of concrete" was actually a 5 inch 3 lb. piece of metal that could have killed him.  That was extremely terrifying.  But, road junk happens.  So here we are with one broken headlight and the other is so yellowed that it needs to be replaced as well.  Because I had taken apart the brake lights many times on this car I figured the headlights would be a breeze.  Little did I know that this task was no easy one.  After the lights came in I popped the hood and got to work.  First, I find a large piece of plastic that is clearly blocking access to the lights.  After breaking a few of the pins I finally figured out how to properly remove that piece.  What do I find below it?  Metal...and lots of it.  Metal that all seems to be in the way of the headlights.  I stood there staring at the project for around 30 minutes trying to figure it out.  Wondering if I had gotten in way over my head.  I had been posting my troubles on facebook in real time.  I had a friend by the name of Kate post that she thought I would make the project my bitch.  Seeing those words and the confidence behind them gave me enough reason to try again.  I checked on youtube for a video and in 6 minutes I was confident I knew what to do.  I ran back outside and removed a few clips and sure enough the headlights came out with ease.  Installing the new ones was a breeze.  It just took a few adjustments on some screws.  After another few minutes I had both headlights installed.  Me...a GIRL!! Below are photos from my adventure.  As you can see the car looks so much better with the new lights.  I was also able to partially remove the dent in the hood from where the metal struck.  I'm pretty darn proud of this project and the outcome.

BT Artbox Nail Stickers

I recently had the pleasure of being able to test out two different types of nail stickers.  I love doing my nails but this was new for me so I was a bit apprehensive at first.  Luckily these are simple to use and I was able to figure them out pretty quickly.  Just cut the out the design and soak in water for about 15 seconds it then comes off of the backing easily.  Apply to already painted (and dried) nails.  Put into position and add a top coat.  Super easy!!  I expected to fail at my first attempt but these didn't tear or bubble at all.
